About Saber

Saber Khaled Elmabrouk has a wealth of knowledge in petroleum engineering and engineering management through his work in industry, academia and research. His knowledge is rooted in extensive, in-depth and practical experience in reservoir management, oil and gas production management, well testing, gas engineering, CO2 capture, engineering economics, modeling, artificial intelligence, data mining, data analysis, uncertainty analysis and risk management. During his time at the Libyan Petroleum Institute, Mr. Saber Elmabrouk began his career in the oil and gas sector. After completing his MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tripoli, he was hired as a lecturer at the same institution where he taught a number of petroleum engineering courses while also working part-time in the oil and gas sector. After earning his PhD in Petroleum Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, Canada, he pursued a career in research and teaching. In addition to his departmental work, he teaches as an adjunct professor at the Department of Engineering Management in the same institution. He has published several high-quality international scientific publications and supervised doctoral dissertation at the University of Calgary, Canada.
